Eric N. Leffler

Eric N. Leffler, 47 passed from a short illness on February 10th, 2025 in Jacksonville Florida. Eric, originally from Indianapolis, went to Scecina Memorial High School, graduated from Morton Memorial High School in Knightstown, Indiana and earned his degree from Vincennes University. From a young age, Eric had the ability to spark joy and be the life of the party. He dreamt of moving to Florida to become a DJ, and he turned this dream into a reality. Eric became the #1 DJ in Jacksonville, with career successes that include engagements with Nascar, the Jacksonville Jaguars, Bill Murray's Caddyshack Golf tournaments, Planet Radio107.3, Welcome to Rockville and many other prestigious events throughout the United States and Europe. Eric's enthusiasm for life and his love for so many will leave a void in many lives.
Eric leaves behind his life partner, Katie Gerstmyer of Jacksonville Florida, mother Carolyn Cannaday Leffler of Indianapolis, Indiana, Father Rick (Cindy) Leffler of Indianapolis, Indiana, sisters Haley (Paul) Wallace of Houston, Texas and Stacey (Nate) Stephon of Zionsville Indiana, his uncles Brendan Cannaday, John Cannaday, Joseph (Belinda) Cannaday, and Patrick (Kim) Cannaday his aunt Maureen (Ron) Rowe all of Indianapolis, his aunt Roseaaron (Phil) Buening of Greensburg Indiana and his godfather John J. Keane of Jacksonville, Florida. Eric viewed his cousins as his brothers and sisters who will miss him immensely.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, March 8th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with an Open House at the Family Home located at 223 South Butler Ave. Indianapolis, Indiana.
