Michael H. Bohannon

Michael H. Bohannon, 75, Indianapolis, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Mike was born August 14, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN to the late James and Justine Dittemore Bohannon. He worked for Alexandria Industries for over 40 years and was a member of the USW (United Steel Workers Union.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorain Bauler Bohannon in 1979. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Gene, Jimmy and Billy Bohannon, as well as a sister, Gussie Parrish.

Survivors include his sons, Michael (Evylen) Bohannon, Jeffery and Gary Bohannon; brothers: Chester (Linda) Bohannon, Stevie Bohannon and Paul (Joyce) Bohannon. He is also survived by his sister and caregiver, Jackie Calvert as well as special nephew and caregiver, Josh Calvert.

Visitation will be held form 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Oakley-Hammond Funeral Home, 5342 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46219.
