Eric Jon Lemaire

Eric Jon Lemaire passed away on November 16, 2025, in Hudson Bend, Texas. Born on August 10, 1991, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Eric's warm spirit and generous heart touched many throughout his life.

Eric was a cherished son to his mother, Terry S. Lemaire, and his late father, Terry J. Lemaire, and his stepfather, Benjamin Hummel. Eric was a loving and devoted father to his two sons, Jon and Haven, who were the pride and joy of his life. His role as a father was his most treasured accomplishment.

A beloved sibling, Eric leaves behind his loved siblings and their spouses; Steven and his wife Jennifer, Terry, Christopher and his wife Jodie, Chazz and his wife Karina, Tess and her husband Roland, Kinston and his wife Cassandra. Eric's life was further enriched by the laughter and love of his 24 nieces and nephews: Jeremiah, Isaac, Charity, Liberty, Sebrina,Victoria, Kevin, Bryce, Elijah, Emanuel, Moses, Nevaeh, Selena, Zekiel, Lorenzo, Izabelle, Christopher Jr., Valentena, Gabriella, Isa, Daniella, Chazz Jr., Avalena, Kaylah, and his three great-nieces, Angeleah, Maylah, and his late great niece Serenity.

Eric's life was characterized by his unwavering commitment to his family and his passion for serving others. He found great joy and purpose in volunteering at his local church's coffee shop, where he was a familiar and welcoming presence. His dedication to his faith was evident in the way he lived his life and served his community.

An avid lover of life's simple pleasures, Eric cherished the moments spent with his two boys, Jon and Haven. Eric's ability to make everyone feel loved and included was one of his most endearing qualities.

Eric's passing is a profound loss to all who knew him, but his spirit will continue to inspire those left behind. Eric's celebration of life will be at Harrell's Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail Austin, TX 78745 at 1:00 PM.
