Brent Lemaire

Brent Lemaire, of Knoxville, TN passed away on June 1, 2025. Brent was born on June 13, 1974 in Texas where he was raised until he went into the Marine Corps. He served from 1993-1997 and was a member of the silent drill team and a proud Veteran. Brent worked at Y-12 National Security Complex for 25 years, was a member of the SRT team and one heck of a model American.
Brent loved making people laugh. He was the most funny, generous, big hearted man that loved his family and friends more than anything. He never met a stranger and was liked by everyone he met. His passions in life included motorcycle riding, working out in the gym, Comicons, firearms, wine enthusiast, music, reading, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. He also led a breakdancing crew in the 1980s where he specialized in popping and locking.
Brent was awarded numerous service medals in the Marine Corps to include the National Defense service medal, rifle and pistol expert badges and the most difficult for young Marines to win, the Good Conduct medal.
Brent was on the team in 2001 that won the International security police officer tactical competition. They received the Department of Energy Secretary's Trophy and were recognized in Washington D.C.
Brent was preceded in death by his grandparents Clara and Claude Richard; Gussie and Wilson Lemaire Sr., his best friend Corey Coffey and his dogs Hannah and Nate.
He is survived by his parents, Gloria and Wilson Lemaire Jr.; his sister and brother in law, Raechal and Benny Vargas; his daughter, Taylor Lemaire and her husband, Samuel Vallarta; his fiancé, Jennifer Key; nieces and nephew, Lacy Francis, Tristan and Sydney Vargas; great nieces, Allison, Caroline and Hannah Francis; Laila and Emma Vargas; his beloved dog, Mylie; two very special girls that brought him joy, Emma and Isabelle Gilmore; and his many friends and coworkers.
The service will be held at Click Funeral home, 9020 Middlebrook Pike, on Saturday, June 28 with visitation from 5-7 pm and service at 7 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the American Cancer Society or Young Williams Animal Center.
