It is with great sadness that the family of Noe Michael Emile Lemaire announce his passing on Thursday, September 4th, 2025, at the age of 82.

Michael is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lois Heath, originally of North Hyde Park; his son, Michael Jr. & husband, Joseph Delgado; his son, Mark & partner, Mary Ellen Michaels; and his daughter, Corinne & husband, Kris Lewia. Additionally, Michael (Pe) will be deeply missed by his 3 grandchildren, Sam & Abigail Lemaire and Knox Lewia.

Michael is predeceased by his parents, Joseph Emile & Evelyn (O'Hear) Lemaire and daughter-in-law, Karen Stewart Lemaire.

Michael lived his entire life in Stowe, growing up on the Lemaire farm on the Mountain Rd. The Lemaire farmhouse and surrounding land currently house such businesses as Pinnacle Ski Shop, Commodities Natural Market, Sun & Ski Inn and Village Green. Throughout his life, Michael was active in the Stowe Community as a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, coach of youth baseball & softball teams, and member of The Flying Tree Surgeons & East Branch Hunting Lodge.

After finishing high school, Michael attended Brownsville Academy where he earned his Masters in Bovinity, studying under the late Dr. Kenneth Buker. Michael worked for many years for his lifelong friend, Paul Percy, running the Tinker Farm in Stowe. After farming, Michael was the maintenance manager for West Branch Apartments for over 20 years.

All are invited to attend services for Michael on Friday, September 12th at 10am at Blessed Sacrament Church in Stowe.

The family would like to thank his care givers, Julie, Suzy, and Mary Ann and the staff at Lamoille Home Health and Hospice, especially Anne, Malissa and Rachel, who provided exceptional care and allowed him to remain in his home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Lamoille Home Health & Hospice, 54 Farr Ave in Morrisville, VT 05661.
