Carrie L. Hodges, age 89, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. She was of the Church of God faith. Carrie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Hodges. She is survived by her children, David Hodges (Telena), Tina Hodges, and Tammy Jo Hodges; granddaughters, Chasity Noe (Landon) and Harlee Hodges; grandson, Michael Shelton (Chastity); nieces, Sharon Cross (Ronnie), Vicki Thompson, and Lori Osborne (Greg); great-niece, Jennifer Montgomery; and her in-laws, Donnie and Sharon Hodges and Ed and Norma Orrick. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rose Funeral & Cremation – Broadway. Family and friends will gather at 12:15 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920, for a 12:30 PM graveside service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Young Williams Animal Center (young-williams.org).
