He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jackie and Lee Childress of Fries, VA, two sons, Noah Rylee Hodges and Mateo Hodges both of Holden Beach, NC, maternal grandmother, Joann Breakfield (Duke) of Holden Beach, NC, maternal grandfather, Willis Keller of Rock Hill, SC, and a sister, Shenandoah Childress.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help assist with funeral expenses under the tribute fund tab located on his obituary page.

I have no words over this but Sam was definitely a one of a kind person he was a customer at our store we could always tell if he was having a good day or bad day ,he would goof around on his good days which lighten up anyone's day he definitely left a learning lesson in this world an won't be forgotten
