He is predeceased by his parents Raymond and Helen.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 42 years, the former Deborah Slay, his loving children Stephen and his wife Rachel, Patricia Gagnon and her husband Marc, his cherished grandchildren Sophie, Lucy, Genevieve and Quinn, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Joseph and Geroganne Slay and many loving friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane in Parlin will be on Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 10:15am at the funeral home with a burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Eric's name to made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Eric J. Logan, age 70 of Sayreville, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in Holmdel. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong borough resident of Sayreville. I send my deepest condolences to Eric's family and colleagues. My dad was a client of Eric's for many years. But more than that, Eric established a deep friendship with my dad over the phone long-distance, so much so, that when visiting me in NYC on one occasion, they made it a point to meet at Eric's office in-person. My dad and Eric spoke every week, not just about the business at hand, but topics ranging from basketball to gardening. When my dad passed away, Eric continued to maintain a close relatoonship with my mom, and then when my mom passed away, with me, and even my daughter. Eric's ability to connect with others, sometimes in frank conversations, is something I will miss, cherish, and pay forward.

Eric, I had the pleasure of working with and for you for 10 years. It was an honor to be in your presence every day. My wife Linda and I offer our deepest condolences to your wife Debbie as well as your children and grandchildren. You will be well remembered by all who had the good fortune to have known you.
