She is survived by her siblings, Lucy Smith and her husband Joe, and Hank Sliski and his wife Beth, as well as her children, Natalie Jurkievich and her husband Rich, and Anthony Maxein, and her grandson Corey, as well as many loving extended family and friends.

Genia Maxein, age 71, of Old Bridge, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Brunswick to the late Al and Olga Sliski, Genia settled in Old Bridge. She worked as a dental technician in Sayreville.
