Lisa dedicated more than 12 years to teaching at the Montessori Connections School in Parlin before retiring. A devoted mother and grandmother, Lisa's greatest joy in life was her family. Affectionately known as Grammy, she cherished every moment with her grandchildren, who brought endless light and happiness into her life.
Her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others touched everyone who knew her. Lisa's warmth and compassion made her a beloved friend, and she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
Lisa was predeceased by her beloved husband and soulmate, Perry Smith; her parents, Milton and Gloria Kreismer; her brother Milton III; her granddaughters Kailyn and Zelda; and her nephew Daniel.
She is survived by her cherished children, April Newton and her husband Michael, Dylan Smith and his partner Dee, and Fawn Johnsen; her seven beloved grandchildren - Luna (Lukaz), Kayden, Harlie Quinn, Cameron, Phoenix, Aurora, and Mateo; her brother Frank; her lifelong friend Richard Zawacki, and many loving nieces and nephews.
