Eric Walter Mall

Eric Walter Mall, age 77, passed peacefully and comfortably into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 14, 2026, in Surprise, Arizona, surrounded by his loving family.

Eric was born on June 10, 1948, in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, to Walter and Edith Mall. He grew up in Rawalpindi as one of six children alongside his older sister Carrie, his two older brothers Patrick and Frederick, and his younger siblings Norine and Sohail.

After completing his bachelor's degree, Eric moved to Saudi Arabia where he worked diligently for many years. Through his hard work and dedication, he eventually became the General Manager of a large marketing firm owned by one of the Saudi princes. In 1977, Eric married the love of his life, Josephine, in Pakistan. Shortly after their marriage, Josephine joined him in Saudi Arabia where they began building their life together. The Lord Jesus blessed Eric and Josephine with five children and three grandchildren.

Eric is lovingly remembered by his wife, Josephine; and his children: his eldest son, Ernest, and his wife Sumita, along with their children Jeremiah and Zachariah; his son Raheel and his wife Zerish and their daughter Eliana; his daughter Zara and her husband Curtis; his daughter Nida; and his youngest daughter Sara and her husband Navid.

Eric was a genuinely kind and faithful man whose generosity touched everyone he met. People were instantly at ease around him, drawn to his warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit. He loved cooking and was known for his hospitality-no one ever left his home without sharing a meal. Eric had a wonderful sense of humor and loved making people laugh, often reminding others with his familiar phrase, "Such is life."

His faith in the Lord Jesus was the foundation of his life. During their years in Saudi Arabia, Eric and Josephine courageously hosted prayer meetings in their home despite the risks, driven by their deep desire to worship the Lord and share His love with others.

Eric will always be remembered for his faith, kindness, generosity, hospitality, and his ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. He had a special love for his grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them.

He leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and compassion that will continue through his family and all who were blessed to know him.

One of Eric's favorite passages of Scripture was Psalm 23.
