Eric Matheny Obituary
Eric Michael Matheny, Sr., 45 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 in his residence. He was born in Hobart, IN on March 21, 1978 to Michael Matheny and Loren Klug.
Eric is survived by his wife Sandy Whitecotton Matheny and his children; Naomy Matheny, Eric “Bubba” Matheny, Jr., Kody Matheny, Vincent Matheny, Lucas Lewis, and Liam Lewis, his father, Michael Matheny (Nila), as well as his step-children; Elizabeth Monday, Alexis Wheat, Tristan Wheat, and Justice Walters. He is also survived by his siblings; Brittney Pustek, Anthony Kidd, Melissa Blankenship, Michelle Matheny, Jessica Matheny, Rachel Matheny, and Patricia Matheny, several grandchildren, along with many friends, and his dog, “Ice”. He was preceded in death by his mother, Loren Klug.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 3:00 PM. Cremation will follow services. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM in the funeral home.
