Eric Albert Ogren, 63, of Forestville, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. He was born on December 5, 1961 in New Haven, son of Paul (wife Margie) Ogren of Easley, South Carolina and the late Barbara (Schiller) Sweeney.

Eric loved nature–camping and hiking when his daughters were young, planting flowers outside even during his battle with cancer, and wind therapy on both long and short rides with his friends Mark and Rachel. Eric shared his gift of humor with his family, friends, colleagues and even the palliative staff at the hospital. He had a life-long love of pets and shared his gratitude that Daisy continues to be cared for lovingly.

Besides his father, Eric is survived by his daughters Cecely and Libby Ogren and his sister Cindy Arnold. He also leaves behind his beloved aunt and cousins, and many good friends and colleagues.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 11:00 am directly at Forestville Cemetery, 36 Circle St. Bristol.
