Eric Daniel Olson, age 44, passed away on December 9, 2024, in Chetek, Wisconsin.
Eric was born to Vicki (Hensel) Dvorak and Robert Olson on December 28, 1979, in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
Eric was a lifelong resident of Chetek, Wisconsin, and a graduate of Chetek High School. After graduation, he quickly transitioned into the workforce, pursuing his true passion for mechanics. Known for his talent and skill, Eric became a skilled handyman who loved to repair and restore anything with an engine. His love for cars and all things mechanical led him to spend countless hours driving around, searching for old vehicles that he could bring back to life. His determination and unwavering work ethic made him not only a talented mechanic but also someone who found joy in fixing what others might have given up on.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford & Virginia Olson and Elmer & Marlyce Hensel, and uncle, David Hensel.
Eric is survived by his parents, Robert Olson and Vicki (Keith) Dvorak, siblings, Ryan (Jennifer) Olson and Kari Olson, and nephews, Brayden, Mitchell, and Carson, as well as many other loving family members and friends.
