Eric Lynn Peevyhouse, 64, of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at his residence in Newbern, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, December 1, 1960, in Dyer County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late William Robert Peevyhouse and the late Helen Fultz Peevyhouse.
Eric found peace and happiness by the water, especially at Kentucky Lake, where he spent countless hours fishing and enjoying nature. His love for the outdoors was matched by his excitement for dirt track racing. Whether he was in the kitchen preparing a home-cooked meal or sharing stories with family and friends, Eric's presence brought comfort and laughter to those around him. He proudly served his country in the Tennessee National Guard for 12 1/2 years and was a member of the River Of Life Church in Ridgely, Tennessee.
Graveside services for Mr. Peevyhouse will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Clayton Mahan.
