Mr. Albert Harold Peevyhouse, age 86 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on January 2, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Union City. Funeral services for Mr. Peevyhouse will be conducted on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 2PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
He was born June 3, 1937; the son of the late Jack Whitwell & Ola Mae (Hinson) Peevyhouse. He worked as a bridge builder with Ford Construction before his retirement. He attended Dyer First Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife, Birma Peevyhouse; two children, Rachel Cates (Mark), Tim Peevyhouse; siblings, James Peevyhouse, Joe Peevyhouse, Shirley Dunn, Martha Dickson, Pat Bing; four grandchildren, Hannah Cates Beckwith, Andrew Peevyhouse, Preston Peevyhouse, Matalin Peevyhouse; and two great-grandchildren, Doyle Beckwith and Calvin Beckwith. He was preceded in death by brothers, Charlie Peevyhouse, Clarence Peevyhouse, and Calvin Peevyhouse.
Pallbearers are Andrew Peevyhouse, Preston Peevyhouse, Joshua Beckwith, Josh Stafford, John Carter Phillips, and Benjamin Keele.
The family will receive friends from 10:30AM-2PM on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Dyer chapel. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Albert Harold Peevyhouse.
