Eric was born June 16, 1969 at Wichita, Kansas the oldest son of Richard Duane "Dick" Plush and Barbara Lynn (Burford) Plush. He grew up in Wichita and attended Wichita public schools. He graduated from Northwest High School with the class of 1988 before continuing his education at Butler Community College where he played football for two years.
Eric began working for USD 259 in the maintenance department. Years later he worked for Walmart before unfortunately becoming disabled.
Eric was baptized in the Milton United Methodist Church, Milton, KS. He was an active member of Masonic Home Lodge No. 450 and later North Star Lodge No. 168 A.F & A.M. Wichita, Kansas.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents: Lewis and Virginia Burford; Warren and Alberta Plush; his aunt Brenda Brewer, his aunt Barbara Wohlford and his father Richard Plush.
Eric is survived by his mother Barbara Plush, one brother Brandon Plush, his uncle Brent Burford, his aunt Bobbi Kaspar all of Wichita, KS, his aunt Dixie Cornelius of Garden City, KS and a number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation with family 10 – 11 a.m. with Funeral Service following at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Milton Methodist Church, Milton, KS. Interment in Eden Cemetery, Milton, KS.
A memorial has been established to the Milton Methodist Church, Milton, KS.
Ebersole Mortuary, Conway Springs, KS.

I had the pleasure of being a classmate of Eric's at Northwest High School, he was always such a nice guy. My condolences to his family and love and comfort from the class of 1988! He will be deeply missed.

Eric and my son were best friends growing up. I remember Eric coming over and the house was full of laughter.
They had close birthdays so they spent a lot of birthdays together.
Eric was always a good kid and polite.
Rich and I send our condolences to Barbara and family.

Eric was my first friend growing up so we spent most days together and a few sleepovers. We had many good times together riding bikes, listening to music, going to the pool, playing games, and out to my folks cabin. We also went to his grandparents house and rode combines. We grew apart over the years but we always stayed in touch. I will miss Eric.

Eric use to come over to our families house back when we all were kids ( Scott and Tina). I remember he would always call my mom "Mrs Lakey" even when she would tell him her name. He was a very kind respectful person. I remember when he would walk he would wear his big bright yellow head phones. Eric will be missed and my sympathies to the family.
