June 12, 1989 – October 20, 2025
Eric Ruscheinsky, age 36, of Bloomington, Minnesota, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 20, 2025.
Born on June 12, 1989, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Alicia Olstead, Eric grew up in Minneapolis. Eric was a dedicated professional and a loving father. He was employed with Apex Machine Group for over ten years, where he served as the Abrasives Department Manager.
Beyond his professional life, Eric had a passion for creativity and connection. He was an avid enthusiast of video games and board games, and he was in the process of designing a board game of his own, a project that reflected both his imagination and determination.
Eric and his partner, Stephanie, were together 14 years. They had three children: Aiden, age 16; Rowen, age 7; and Zinian, age 4. The name Zinian was used by Eric as a screen name. He chose the name stating that he had so many gaming adventures with it, he wanted to pass it on for his son to make his own adventures with.
Eric will be remembered for his intelligence, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and friends. His presence enriched the lives of those who knew him, and his memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
He is survived by his partner, Stephanie Farrell; their sons, Aiden Dillan, Rowen Ruscheinsky, Zinian Ruscheinsky; parents, Alicia and Chris Olstead; grandparents, Patricia Boyer; Bruce and Linda Olstead; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by great grandparents, Ralph and Dorothy Ruscheinsky; grandpa Gaile Boyer.
