Eric D Stevens, age 42, of Port Charlotte Florida, passed away July 16, 2022. He was born on September 26, 1979 at Eglin AFB, the son of Donna L Stevens and Stephen J Thompson. Eric spent his youth attending many schools as an Air Force dependent, then attended Port Charlotte High School, and graduated from Punta Gorda High School. Eric enjoyed working in the restaurant and hotel hospitality business. He also enjoyed landscaping, fishing, traveling, and being your favorite weatherman! He had an adventurous spirit, living one day at a time. He especially enjoyed sharing memories of living in the Philippines, there and in other places, never meeting a stranger. Eric held strong beliefs on life, the government and the law, always wanting to right the wrongs of the world. He had a kind heart and always hoped he would be remembered as a person who tried to help others in need. Eric is survived by his mother and father, his longtime best friend Tiffany Norton, two children, Adam Stevens of Punta Gorda, FL and Mackenzie Stevens of Land O Lakes, FL, his maternal grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins who love him and will miss him deeply.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Roberson Funeral Home 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33948.
