Erich Buck Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. on Dec. 8, 2025.
Erich Leigh Buck, 52, of Titusville, Pennsylvania, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, after a lifelong battle with a congenital heart defect.
Erich was born in Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Army SSG Bruce George Buck and Nelda Lynne (Abbott) Buck. He was not expected to survive; however, he was proud to be the second-longest living survivor of the Mustard procedure that was used to save his life at six months old.
Erich was a very intelligent man, and a member of The National Honor Society in high school. He possessed an adventurous soul, and often shared stories of seeking out an adrenaline rush while playing outside with his brother Josh and their friend group. He also sought out intellectual adventures in sci-fi books and role-playing games. Erich loved good jokes, telling bad "dad jokes", and helping with well thought out pranks. He enjoyed trips to the ocean with his children, where he would say he was recharging. As a proud father, Erich taught his children to dream big and shoot for the stars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Quentin Xavier (2009) and Deacon James (2010), and his daughter Donna Marie (2020), as well as his gaming friend Todd Tisdale (2020) of Oklahoma.
He is survived by his son, Calvin of Warren, Pennsylvania; his daughter, Cara-Brynn; his son, Liam; his daughter, Rhiannon, all of Titusville, Pennsylvania; and his daughter, Terza, of Lewiston, Maine. Erich was also a loving brother to his older sister Cami of Rogersville, Tennessee, his younger brother Josh, and his sister-in-law Jenny of Salem Twp, Maine. Erich is survived by several Aunts, Uncles and cousins throughout the United States.
Erich was a very proud Uncle to Logan and his wife Tiffany of Lewiston, Maine, nieces Sami and Felicia (and her children Zoey and Eric) all of Arizona; a nephew Matt of Greensboro, North Carolina and nieces Monica and Natalie of Salem Twp, Maine. Erich was also a proud Opa to his granddaughter Amber of Warren and Titusville, Pennsylvania.
Erich is also survived by his best friend, Walter Gowan and his family of Florida and Maine, as well as his gaming friends Scott, Nero, Seth, Jean, Keenan, Kalvin, Vella, Jason, Mike and Michelle.
Lastly, he is survived by his former wife and caregiver, Shawna Martin, her husband Andy, and their nephew Michael, who assisted in his care, all of Titusville, Pennsylvania.
At Erich's request, no services will be observed. A memorial cookout is planned for the summer.
