There are people who leave footprints on your heart, and my Uncle Erich was one of them. He wasn´t just my favorite uncle-he was a radiant presence in my life, a source of joy, love, and laughter.
As a child, I spent several summers with him and Aunt Bernie, and those memories remain etched in my heart forever. They welcomed me into their home and into their family vacations, where I felt not just included, but cherished. Those days were filled with warmth, adventure, and the kind of laughter that stays with you forever.
My Uncle Erich had a charisma that lit up every room. He was witty and fun. His cheerfulness was infectious, and his phone calls were always a highlight-no matter what was going on, he had a way of lifting my spirits and making me laugh. Even as I grew older, our connection remained strong, and I treasured every conversation we shared.
His passing leaves a space in my heart that cannot be filled, but I carry his love and light with me. I will miss him dearly-his voice, his humor, his heart-but I find comfort in knowing that he´s reunited with the rest of our beloved family who have crossed over. One day, we´ll all be together again.
Until then, I honor him by remembering the joy he brought into my life and the love he gave so freely. Thank you, Uncle Erich, for being exactly who you were. Love and miss you.

Erich has been such a great friend to Larry and me. I think he would have done anything for us. He continued picking Larry up every Wednesday morning for breakfast after Larry could not drive. He will really be missed. Prayers for his family.
