Robert M. Ogle was called to his eternal home on September 18, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on June 18, 1960, in Noblesville, Robert was a lifelong resident of Indiana, passing away peacefully in Indianapolis surrounded by his family.

Robert's journey began as the cherished son of Elizabeth Viers and Fred Ogle, and it was in the warmth of their loving guidance that he learned the values of faith and compassion that would define his life. After graduating from Lawrence Central High School in 1978, Robert dedicated over four decades of service as a military pay technician at The Fort Benjamin Harrison Finance Center, where his passion for numbers truly flourished.

His spirit of generosity and humor was a blessing to all who knew him. Robert's selfless nature found its greatest expression in his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. He shared 46 beautiful years with his wife, Beth L. (Warren) Ogle, whom he met in high school orchestra. They were sweethearts from the start, and their love was a lasting example of devotion. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Isaiah Ogle and Katie Cody (James), and were the proud grandparents to Lilly, Clara, Violet, Ivy, Teddy, and Willow, who were undoubtedly the apples of his eye. Robert's joy was most evident when he was with his grandchildren, whether he was spoiling them at Five Below, playing board games and Uno, or hosting cherished movie nights and sleepovers.

Robert's faith was the cornerstone of his life. A devout Christian, he was a long-standing member of Gracehouse Assembly of God Church. His commitment to his faith was unwavering, as evidenced by his participation in the Bible study he led at his mother's home for over 35 years, in addition to participating in the Men's Bible study at his church. These gatherings were a source of spiritual sustenance for Robert and all who joined, reflecting his dedication to sharing the Word of God.

In his younger years, Robert's competitive spirit shone brightly on the slow-pitch softball field, where his sportsmanship and camaraderie were as admired as his athletic skills. A homerun hitter, his batting prowess was unmatched.

Robert's life was a living example of the Christian virtues he held dear. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Ogle. He is survived by a loving family: his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Jim Viers; his devoted wife of 46 years, Beth L. (Warren) Ogle; his son, Isaiah Ogle; his daughter, Katie Cody, and son-in-law, James; his adored grandchildren, Lilly, Clara, Violet, Ivy, Teddy, and Willow; his siblings, Stephanie Luke, Eric Ogle (Laura), Kelly Novotney (Doug), Angela Brown (Randy), JR Viers (Jenny Ruth), and Jenny Curtis (Chris). Each of them carries forward a part of Robert's legacy, a legacy marked by unwavering love, laughter, and a helping hand extended to all.

Funeral services for Robert will be held on Wednesday, September 24 at 1:00PM at his beloved church, Gracehouse Assemblies of God Church, 6822 US 31 South, Whiteland, IN 46184. Visitation will be at the church from 10AM until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.

Robert will be deeply missed, but the light of his spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved him. As we bid farewell to a man of great faith and boundless kindness, we take solace in the knowledge that he has found peace in the arms of our Lord. His memory will forever be a beacon of joy and an inspiration to live a life grounded in love and service to others.
