I will miss seeing him sit on his deck at the lake. Even from Wendy and Dave's deck you could see his wonderful, sparkling smile and eyes. I'll miss you Erik!!

Loanne and Heather,
I was saddened to read of the passing of your father and grandfather. May the memories and love of times shared bring you strength and the hope of the resurrected Christ bring you comfort. In Christian Sympathy, Sandy Becker Knight (First Lutheran Church of Crystal)

Thoughout my relationship and marriage with Erik's granddaughter (Jenny), Florence and Erik have always welcomed me into the family with open arms. I was truly blessed to have known Erik, whom I will remember with laughter as well as by his work ethic. I only knew him since he was about 75, and even during that time it was hard to keep him from working on the things he loved; especially crafts for his grandchildren. I can only imagine how industrious he must have been throughout the course of his life. He will be truly missed.

Our hearts are broken, but will mend in time. The friendship that we have will be forever treasured. Erik was a friend that will be missed, but the times we shared with him and his family will be forever in our hearts. Love to all.
