Erika was not only an amazing wife to John Rogers, her loving husband, but also an extraordinary mother to her three daughters, Renate Reynolds and her spouse Mike, Becky Cook, and Linda Knox and her spouse Don. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Crissy Terry with her spouse Robert, Erika Painter with her spouse Michael, Michael Harrison, and Alex Knox. As a proud great-grandmother, she found immense joy in her relationships with Chase Terry and his spouse Jacqueline, Colton Terry, MJ Painter, Myles Harrison, and Bryson Knox.
For 30 dedicated years, Erika served as an army wife, providing unwavering support to her family as they navigated military life together. A woman of exceptional kindness, generosity, and caring spirit, she filled their home with love and warmth. Erika will be fondly remembered for the delightful Sunday dinners she prepared, ensuring that everyone was well-fed and gathered around the table, strengthening family bonds through shared meals and laughter.
Erika took great pride in her accomplishments, including earning her GED from Central Texas College and becoming a U.S. citizen, achievements that highlighted her determination and commitment to her family's future.
She is predeceased by her mother, Margareta, her father, Johann, three sisters, and three brothers. Erika also mourned the loss of her daughter, Elisabeth Schubert, and her granddaughter, Lauren Knox, whose memories she cherished deeply.
