Erin Elizabeth Bingham
Erin Elizabeth Bingham, 45, passed away on March 1, 2026, in a tragic hit-and-run accident in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born on November 24, 1980, in
Ogden, Utah, Erin was the beloved daughter of Tim Hamaker and Carolyn Fergerson.
Erin adored her parents and shared a special bond with her little sister, Paige Kesler. Family meant everything to her, and she was overjoyed the day she learned she would become an aunt. But the true loves of her life were her two sons, Jaden Parent and Kobe Sims. They were her sun, her moon, and her stars. Erin was a devoted and extraordinary mother-her boys were her whole world.
In 2018, tragedy struck when her beloved son Jaden passed away over Memorial Day weekend. A part of Erin's heart went with him that day. Though she carried that grief, she continued loving fiercely. Shortly after Jaden's passing, she found comfort and companionship in her dog, Cesar. Cesar became her constant companion. They went everywhere together-often getting in the car and simply driving wherever the road took them. Those close to her believe Jaden sent Cesar to his mom when she needed him most.
Erin was the love of her husband Shae's life. They were married on September 10, 2016. Life was not always easy, but they were deeply, madly in love. She would often say that her and Shae's didn't need anything but each other. Her presence made their house a home. Without her, Shae's heart and room feel unbearably empty.
Erin was the most beautiful woman in the world-not only in appearance but in spirit. She had the kindest heart. She was always there when someone needed her, always ready to care for the people she loved. Though her life was filled with struggles, she had an incredible ability to find beauty in even the simplest, most ordinary moments.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Fergerson, and her son, Jaden Parent. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved son Jaden, reunited at last. We take comfort in imagining their joyful reunion in heaven, even as she surely watches over and worries about the family she loved so dearly. She is survived by her husband, Shae, her father, Tim Hamaker, her son, Kobe Sims, and her sister, Paige Kesler.
