Erma Jean Stover, age 75, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 2, 2025. She was born on May 20, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lee and Iva (Troxell) Rummage. Erma was a loving, good-hearted woman who loved taking care of everyone. She loved traveling. After her retirement, she and her late husband would travel all around the country in their travel trailer. From California, the Grand Canyon and many state parks, she loved taking pictures of old covered bridges and collecting mugs from the many states they visited. Her "world famous" sweet, iced tea will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Stover; son, Barry Stover; brother, Jimmy Rummage and sister, Marcella.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Dawn Smith; grandchildren, Jordan Smith and Kayla Reener; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Reener and Avery Pratt; sisters, Kathy Clark (Kenny) and Vicky Benham (James); brother, Bobby Rummage (Gaynell) and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 12:00 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Hebron Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 1:00 until 8:00 and on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 9:00 until the time of service at the funeral home.
