Faye Wheatley, 88, Brick passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, in Neptune, New Jersey. Born January 18, 1937, in Oakland, Maryland, Faye lived a life marked by resilience, generosity, and devotion to others.
In her younger years, Faye embraced adventure with enthusiasm. She once drove a '55 Chevy at a local racetrack in Maryland-a bold pursuit that reflected her spirited nature. During her twenties, she found joy in bowling, a pastime she cherished.
After moving to New Jersey, Faye found solace by the sea. She spent many treasured hours at Sea Watch beach in Manasquan with her best friend Pam Gerraty and many others whose lives she touched. The ocean became a place of peace and reflection for her.
Faye's spiritual journey led her to convert to Catholicism in mid-life. Her faith became a cornerstone of her life. She volunteered for several years at St. Denis School and Church, where she formed meaningful connections with Sister Roseann, Sister Shelia, and the Monsignor. Her dedication to service and community was steadfast.
She will be remembered as a giving, thoughtful, beloved mother; a woman with a heart full of compassion-always ready to offer comfort or lend a helping hand. Her selflessness left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Faye is survived by her son Jason and his wife D'Arcy; daughters Charlotte and her husband Kenny and Betty; granddaughters MissyAnne, Erin, and Brianna; grandchildren Jack and Finley; and great-grandchildren Landon, James Jr., and MacKenzie.
She was predeceased by her father James Allen and mother Helen; siblings Linda; George; Allen Earl (Buddy); Tyrone; Douglas; Edith May; Joan; and Sharon.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. She will be missed.
