Erminia "Minnie" Alvarado Ybarbo, 69, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 6, 1956, in Lamesa, Texas, Minnie lived a life marked by warmth, faith, and boundless love for those around her.
Minnie was the beloved wife of Gilbert Ybarbo, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage built on their faith, devotion, laughter, and an enduring love that carried them through life's every season. She was a woman of many career talents, but her passion was working for an after-school program with elementary school aged children. Minnie loved the beach, volunteering at her church, and cherishing time with her family/friends.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Joe and Amanda Alvarado; sisters Martha and Gloria Alvarado. Minnie is survived by her husband, Gilbert Ybarbo of 29 years. Gilbert & Minnie had a blended family with a total of 5 children, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
SERVICES The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at The Baptist Temple Church, located at 901 E. Drexel Avenue San Antonio, TX 78210. This service will be open to all family and friends, including children. A private service and burial for close family will be at a later time.
Please remember to include a flower card with your arrangements so that we know who to thank.

To my Bestie forever. We have an attachment of friendship for many many years. I've always told you I Love you from here to the moon. You always told me I Love you more. We went back and forth. Bestie forever! Now you're closer to the moon and in Heaven. I'll miss my Bestie, but no more pain. To Gilbert, Spencer, Minnie will be greatly missed.
