Erna Roseler

Erna (nee Schopp) Roseler, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026 in Lake Bluff, IL. She was born February 18, 1930 in Chicago, IL, and had lived in Mundelein, IL since 1948, where she met the love of her life, Robert Roseler. They were married for 67 years. Erna worked as a telephone operator and later in customer service at Sears, where she eventually retired. She enjoyed nature, staying active, playing BINGO, reading the newspaper, and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her warmth, strength, and enduring love for her family.

She is survived by her two granddaughters, Stefanie (Mark) Price and Gina (Kevin) Sorby; five great-grandchildren, Braxton, Brooke, Lincoln, Leighton, and Logan; and many nieces and nephews.

Erna was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Minnie (nee Nessel) Schopp; her beloved husband, Robert Roseler; her daughter, Susan Withrow (nee Roseler); and her brothers, Kenneth, Robert, LeRoy, and Clarence Schopp.
