Nancy E. Gaffke

Nancy E. (nee Feiter) Gaffke, 83, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 in Libertyville, IL. She was born March 23, 1942 in Chicago and was formerly of Highland Park & Wilmette, living in Beach Park for the past 20 years. Nancy was a former employee at Cook County Sherriff Department, Skokie Police Department as a dispatcher, army civilian for computer support and was employed at Century 21 Circle in Waukegan for the past 30 years. She attended Bethel Lutheran Church in Gurnee and was a proud member of the social organization Red Hat Society. Nancy will be remembered as selfless and a mother to many dedicated to fostering children & her home daycare. She enjoyed watching her kids' sports, listening to music, especially the Robert Plant band and was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving is her 2 children, John (Danielle) Gaffke & Gina Gaffke; 5 grandchildren, Jessica Douglas, Alexander Gaffke, Hailey (Kurtis) Kwak, Evan & London Altman and by great grandchildren, Taylor Krause and Aliyah, Delilah & Wade Kwak.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Faith and husband, Jack Gaffke.
