Ernest Paul Dupre', Sr., age 75, of Boyce, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Lexington House Nursing Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Ernest is preceded in death by his grandson, Nicholas Nichols; his parents, Elie and Cora Dupre' Sr.; his sisters, Leona Brunet, and Kathleen Neal; his brothers, Druis Dupre', Elie Dupre' Jr., Leroy Dupre'.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Jennie Dupre'; his children, Ernest Dupre' jr., Kim Dupre' Rentz (Jason), Dawn Johnfroe (Damien), Melvin Nick Nichols (Jeanette), Regina Martin (Wayne), Roy Nichols, and Sandy Guin (Donald); a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister, Earline Porche; his brothers, Jerry Dupre' (Joyce), and Gary Dupre' (Bonnie); numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Ernest loved to fish, and loved tending to his grass. A wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
