Ernest “Lil Yet” Griffin, Sr.; a native and resident of Gheens passed away on Sunday, November 30th, 2025.
Mr. Ernest is survived by his loving wife of 38 years: Sharon Moore Griffin; children: Amber Maryann Griffin Thibodaux (Kyle), Ernest “Bubba” Joseph Griffin Jr.; parents: Whitney and Henrietta Matherne Griffin; brother: Whitney Griffin III (Tory); and sister: Amanda Griffin Rivet (Dray); many nieces, nephews, and a great niece.
Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by his daughter: Maryline Grace Griffin.
He was a proud Patriot and loved his military family and colleagues.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 5pm. A Celebration of His Life will begin at 4:00 pm.
