Marina and all Ernie's family,
We are sorry to hear of cousin Ernie's passing on. There are good memories of a visit with us from Ernie and Marina and his sister, Eleanor and her husband, Ken, when they stopped by our home at St. Cloud, Minnesota. A highlight of this day was Marina's graciously playing our piano--lovely music! Also, Earl has fond memories of Ernie staying with his Minnesota cousins, aunt Mildred and uncle Ed at rural Bagley when he was in his teens. We also had a chance to have an afternoon together with Eleanor, Nita and Ernie and their families when they stopped by our home at Bertha, MN when our families were very young. So good to have shared these special times with Ernie and family. A quote from Ronald Reagan seems appropriate for Ernie: "Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories." God's peace and comfort be with you.

I first met Ernest last June, when he and his wife came to Hope Lutheran Church's Choir/Orchestra End Of Season Pizza Party. At one point, he passed by where I was sitting, but lost his balance a bit and stumbled into my chair. He seemed a bit embarrassed and was very concerned that he had made a bad impression. So I assured him that I certainly didn't think anything bad about him. He seemed like a very nice gentleman to me and I'm sure he will be missed by many.
