Ernest Lynn Harrell
86 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on August 19, 2025. Ernest was born on August 10, 1939, in Dawson Springs, Kentucky to the late James and Elsie Harrell. He was retired from Allsion Transmission. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma “Joyce” Harrell, his parents and eleven siblings. He is survived by his children Sherri (Randy) Asbery, Traci (Marty) Bowling and James (Valerie) Harrell, grandchildren Corey, Courtney, Cody, Erica, Brandon, Kaidence, Melissa and Bobby, six great grandchildren and sister Rheda Vandiver. Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Friday, August 29, 2025, at 11 am, at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association by clicking HERE.
