Ernest Johnson Obituary
Due to inclement weather, the memorial service for Ernest has been rescheduled to SUNDAY, December 28th from 12-2pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
Ernest Johnson was born on December 28, 1952, and passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025.
Ernest was a devoted husband, loving father, and a deeply charismatic presence to everyone who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Paula Johnson, and his two daughters, Hayley Sydor and Nicole Johnson.
In 1997, Ernest was permanently disabled due to medical malpractice and was forced into early retirement. Despite this life-altering event, he never allowed it to define him. He continued to work whenever possible and remained steadfast in his belief in the value of hard work, resilience, and optimism. His work ethic was unwavering, and his outlook on life remained remarkably positive.
Ernest was known for his warmth, humor, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He truly enjoyed being around others and lived a full, people-centered life. Above all, he was a loving and present father who took great pride in his family.
The loss of Ernest Johnson is immeasurable, and he will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 28th from 12-2pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
