Ernie will always be remembered with a smile. Anytime he called as soon as you heard his raspy voice you knew who was on the other end of the phone. I had to drive him to pick up company vehicles quite a few times and we would share work stories and laugh and whenever I needed someone to come and unload or load a trailer (it usually happened when no one else was around) he would come and take care of it even if he was halfway or all the way home at the time. I was lucky to have known and worked with him and his presence among us will be missed. My condolences to Minnie and the rest of his family, my prayers are with you.
