Ernest Raymond Rodina Jr.

Ernest Raymond Rodina, Jr. 68, of Ottawa, Kansas passed away at home Wednesday July 12, 2023.
Visitation will be 6-8PM Friday July 14th at the Ottawa University Chapel followed by a memorial service on Saturday at 10am also at the Ottawa University Chapel.
Ernie was born April 7, 1955, in Kansas City, Kansas to Ernest Sr. and Elaine Rodina. He was raised in Kansas City, Kansas and attended school there. In 1977, Ernie graduated from Ottawa University. Following his graduation, he worked for Purina for 35 years. Additionally, Ernie founded two companies, Big-E's Blue Cheese and Better Horses. His hobbies were horses, fishing, hunting, and sports. Above all, his true passion was his love for God. He dedicated his life to loving God, people, and bringing people to know and love Jesus.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Matthew Rodina.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years Connie Rodina of the home and sons Luke A. Rodina and wife Jonel, and children Isabel, Ida, Ruth, and Josephine of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Nicholas R. Rodina and wife Megan, and children Emma and Aidan of Salina, Kansas; and Brent W. Rodina and wife Rebecca of Ottawa, Kansas; brother Mike Rodina of Kansas City, Kansas; sisters Janie Lisky of Shawnee, Kansas; Teressa Caraway of Lawrence, Kansas; Rebecca Torres of Billings, Montana; and many nieces and nephews.
