It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ernest Glenn Sprinkle Jr., affectionately known as "Poppy," who left this world on March 17, 2026. Born on December 4, 1959, in Morris, IL, Ernest dedicated his life to his family.
A proud father and loving husband, Ernest was blessed with three daughters: Tanya Worley, Amanda Adams, and Natosha Dada, one Brother, four Sisters. He shared a deep bond with his wife, Sheila Sprinkle, who was his partner in life and love. Together, they created a beautiful family that he cherished dearly.
Ernest's grandchildren-Destiny Swanson, Eric Vandyke, Jay Black, Carrie Mayberry, Haley Mayberry, Zain Dada, and Marcus Sizemore-were the joy of his life. He often spent his days tending to his beloved garden, which he lovingly referred to as "our piece of Heaven." It was in this tranquil space that he found peace, often inviting his grandchildren to ride alongside him on the lawnmower, creating memories that will forever be etched in their hearts.
A dedicated fan of the Washington Redskins, Ernest took pleasure in sharing his love for football with those around him, often cheering for his team with the same enthusiasm he showed his family.Ernest's spirit will be carried on through the lives he touched and the love he shared.
Ernest Glenn Sprinkle Jr. will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His love, laughter, and dedication to family will continue to shine brightly in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
