Mr. Williams was born October 17, 1946 to William Carvin and Edith Jackson Williams. Ernest was a poultry farmer, cattle farmer and hay farmer. He worked on the oil rig for ten years. He loved to fish, hunt and was an avid outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Theresa Williams; brother, Kenneth Williams.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Cathy Williams; daughter, Sharon Williams Sharpton; brothers, Keith (Anita) Williams, Ronnie Williams; sisters, Karen (Johnny) Chambers, Sandra Sanford, Peggy Calvert, Cindy (Dean) Hill, Judy (Larry) Henson, Kassie (Jay) Burleson, Destry Sharpton; great-grandchild, Kythan Wayne Sharpton; family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to your church or your favorite charity.
