Ernest "Ernie" James Zwick, age 89, of Louisville, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2025 in his home. He was born October 1, 1935 in Canton, OH to Francis and Clara Zwick. Ernie was in the Marine Corp. Reserves and worked many years as a carpenter/superintendent for the Hammond Construction Co. He was a member of St. Joesph Catholic Church in Maximo, Louisville FOE and the VFW.
Ernie is survived by his wife of 69 years, Marilynn (Kline); three daughters, Dawn (Bud) Stenroos, Cheryl (Ed) Bailey, Brenda (Mark) Lintner; two sons, James (Tammy) and Larry (Melinda) Zwick; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis Jr and James Zwick.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10am Friday morning (3/28) at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo, OH. Calling hours will be 9-10am Friday morning at the church. Ernie will be laid to rest in St Joseph Parish Cemetery, Maximo, OH. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
