Jean Ann (Royer) Yoder, 93, of Sebring, Ohio was called to her heavenly home on September 9th with family by her side. Born on February 28th, 1932, to Atlee and Lucy Royer, she lived most of her life in Louisville, Ohio. Jean graduated from Louisville High School in 1950. She married Richard Yoder on December 30, 1951, and became the proud mother to a daughter, Beth, and sons, Rob, Randy, and Eric.

Jean worked in various professions including radiology, food service where she managed the Louisville School Districts cafeterias, and became a certified laboratory technician after her children were raised.

Jean was active in her church where she cared for and instructed young children and engaged in women's ministry for many years. She also used her cooking skills while providing the Louisville Rotary Club with home-cooked meals on a weekly basis.

In 1979 Jean and Richard moved to Colorado to be near their daughter and other family members where she enjoyed her mountain home and continued to work in food service for local schools. Life circumstances changed and she and her husband moved back to Louisville in 1991. They enjoyed many years in Louisville until moving to Copeland Oaks Retirement Community. She continued being active by volunteering in their Thrift Shop and Acorn Shop.

Jean had many hobbies and enjoyed life by playing the piano, sewing, traveling, and volunteering. She loved to be busy.

Besides her parents, Jean was pre-deceased by a grandson.

Jean leaves behind her loving husband of 73 years, Richard Yoder, and children; Beth (Roger) of Colorado, Rob (Rita) of Louisville, Randy (Jodi) of Florida, and Eric (Betty Jane) of Louisville. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Services to celebrate Jean's life will take place on Tuesday, September 16th at the Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with calling hours at 10:00am followed by a memorial service at 11:00am officiated by Pastor Jon Long.
