Ernestine "Terri" Bommarito Boggio passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at the age of 82.
Wife of Robert Boggio. Loving mother of Kathleen Bommarito Tittle (Jerry Tittle), the late Richard "Dominic" Bommarito, James Bommarito (Cheryl), and Christopher Bommarito (Michelle). Proud grandmother of Nicole Mazzola, Sarah Richards (Scott), Danielle Gelios, Jaimie Ramos (Rick), Ashlei Jacobs (Steven), Samantha Bommarito, Dominic Bommarito, and Olivia Bommarito, and cherished great-grandmother to many.
Dear sister of Annette Brow (the late George), Fran Hanson (the late Jerry), Corrine Crysler (Bob), Mary Lou Sharp-Kratt (Michael), John Sharp (Maria Elena), Ruth Ann Sharp and Larry Medley; and preceded in death by her siblings Leonard Sharp (Phouk), Robert Sharp. Terri is also survived by several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Born in Tennessee, Terri and her family moved to the Detroit area where she was raised. A hardworking and ambitious woman, she owned and managed several local establishments including Filthy J. McNasty in Warren and the Assembly Line in Shelby Township. She later became a well-liked and successful commercial real estate agent, earning the respect and friendship of many colleagues and clients.
Terri had a deep love for nature and the outdoors, often spending time at her cottage in Grayling, Michigan. She took pride in her beautiful flower gardens and loved being near the water-whether relaxing on her pontoon boat or spending time by the pool. She also enjoyed shopping and had a lifelong love for animals, caring for many dogs and most recently, her beloved cat.
Terri had a passion for driving and was known for her taste in cars-she always drove convertibles and never had a boring car, only fast and sporty ones that matched her vibrant personality.
She will be remembered as a feisty, independent woman who lived life on her own terms, brought energy to every room she entered, and loved her family deeply.
Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m., at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. Fifteen Mile Road,
Sterling Heights, Michigan.
