Errol Cesinger Obituary
Errol L. Cesinger, 76, of Riley passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. He was born November 20, 1947, in Terre Haute to Gerald "Tub" and Betty (Bemen) Cesinger. Errol proudly served his county in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1967-1969. He enjoyed Nascar Racing, going to the American Legion baseball games, Clay City High School basketball and baseball, and watching all the grandsons play sports. Errol belonged to the Masonic Lodge 390, a lifetime member of the VFW and a member Riley American Legion 328 for 54 years where he served as commander from 1980-1987. He worked for Morris Trucking for 23 years. The family would like to extend a thank you to Morris Trucking. Errol was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ruthie Hoopingarner Cesinger, mother Betty Cesinger, sons Troy Cesinger and David Cesinger, grandsons Kyle Cesinger and Dusty Cesinger, granddaughter Tailor Carey (Adam), brothers Randy Cesinger and Greg Cesinger, Sister Darby Gugliemetti (Mike), Aunt Judy Dupree, niece Kasey Decarolis, great niece Kenly and great nephew Kameron, stepson Charles Vicars (Pam), step daughter Robin Coffey (Bob), step granddaughters Whitney Duncan (Eric), Charlee Brown (Kendall), and Jerrica Pitts (Randall), step grandson Cole Vicars, and great step grandson Ryne Jeffers (Errol's buddy). Errol was preceded in death by his father Tub Cesinger.
Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Online condolences may be made to:

Errol and I were friends and basketball teammates when we attended Glen Junior High School. He was always a team player and had a great two-handed jump shot. I won´t forget Errol. He was always adventurous and fun to be with. So sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers to his family.
