Erwin Green Obituary
Richie graduated from Litchfield High School in 1968. Richie enjoyed spending time with his friends, playing cards. Whether that was at "choir practice" on Wednesdays, Shepherds on Fridays, fixing Johnnys lawn mower or just making his rounds.
In addition to his wife, Pat, Richie was survived by two daughters, Tracy VanMeter of Albion, April (Mike Sierminski) Green of Homer; one son, Chad (Rachel) Green of Adrian; one sister, Ella Hamrick of Litchfield; two brothers, Ralph (Sally) Green of Hillsdale, Jim (Brenda) Green of Jonesville; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Clair and George Green.
A memorial visitation for Erwin R. (Richie) Green will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 3-6 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family c/o Eagle Funeral Home.

I grew up across the highway from the Green family. Their farm was on the west side of 69 and our family was on the east side of 69. I spent many nights hanging out with the Green family with Tracy, April and Chad. So many fun memories of playing outside in the barns and just hanging out together and having a fun time, staying up late and watching movies. Pat and Richie were so amazing. I have so many memories of hanging out over there. I actually remember the day when they decided to move the Homer. I stayed over there a few nights and I clearly remember watching the Friday the 13th movies and I was scared to death.
We grew apart after that, as friends do in our lives, as we move on. I will never forget hanging out with the Green family. They were all so amazing. Richie was an amazing husband, father and friend, and I will never forget him. Such a good man. We were so blessed to know him.
