Sister Essie B. Tubbs Phillips was born on February 7, 1944, to the late Wilbert Tubbs and Annie Bell Tubbs in El Dorado, AR. Essie B. accepted Christ at an early age and joined Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Essie B. was a beloved wife, mom, sister, and grandmother. She attended Parkers Chapel in Mt.Willie, then moved to Mount Holly School. She was a crew farmer and truck driver for JM Poultry /Con Agra for over 30 years; she loved fishing, gardening, and the casino.

Sister Essie B. was married to the late Lonnie T. Phillips on November 18, 1961, and to this union, Essie's six pack was born, three boys and three girls. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie T. Phillips Sr., and two sons, Lonnie Jr and Lonnie Dewayne Phillips; one sister, LueVada Tubbs, and two brothers, Kennedy Shay and Timothy Tubbs Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Sidney Hill (Robert) of Camden, Brenda Norful (John) of Junction City, La, Connie Spivey (JaTaveon) of El Dorado, three bonus daughters, LeQuisha Heard of Little Rock, LaKeita Aaron (Rod) of El Dorado, Carrie Taylor (Malcom) of Lillie, La and one son, Jamie T. Phillips of El Dorado, AR, her siblings, Annie White, Essie M.Tubbs, and Sarah Reed (Eugene) of El Dorado, Wilbert Tubbs Jr. (Dianne), Luevell Tubbs (Regina), Lonnie Tubbs, Dennis Tubbs and Roger Tubbs (Laura) of El Dorado, daughter- in- Laws Bernadette Phillips and Teasa Phillips both of El Dorado, AR.

She also leaves to cherish seventeen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
