Essine Smith Obituary
Born on March 13, 1930, in Charlotte, she was the beloved daughter of the late Masoud and Malvina Salem. A proud graduate of Harry P. Harding High School, Essine went on to build a long and successful career as an office manager at Philco-Ford, where she worked for 25 years with dedication and integrity.
In 1971, she married David C. Smith of Burlington, NC, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage until 2001.
Essine is survived by her daughters, Yvonne (Pete) Blowers of Matthews, NC, Karla Timpani of Graham, NC; grandson, Jeremy (Brandy) McArver of Burlington, NC.
The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, June 28, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home - Indian Trail Chapel (4431 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079) with a service beginning at 12:00 PM. Following the service, a burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery (700 W 6th St, Charlotte, NC 28202) at 2:00 PM.
