He was born on January 2, 1947, in San Sebastián, PR, to Francisco Adames and Carmen Adames. He was a dedicated, loving family man who would light up any room he entered with his bright smile and humorous personality. He was the Treasurer to the Ardilleros Softball Club from 2003-2020, where he was admired for his dedication to the community and his friends. He retired from Artesanias Baja M.X. as a Plant Manager after working there for 30 years. He was well respected for his amazing work ethic and dedication to do right by the people he served. He enjoyed gardening, dancing, camping, and playing dominoes. Esteban is survived by his five children, Steve, Frankie, Shery, Sonia, Bianca and sister Lucy. Family and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at John. Givnish Funeral Home at 10975 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA, 19154. Esteban's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 10:30 am at Holy Innocents Church, 1337 E. Hunting Park Ave. Phila., PA. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 am to 10:15 am. Interment will be at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
