Estelle Salata Szczesny

Estelle Salata Szczesny 4-11-1947 to 10-2-2025, 78 years old.She was born in Stadniki Poland to Stanley and Janina Salata growing up in a small community in East Central Poland just outside of Belarus.
Commonly known as the energizer bunny for her infectious drive and smile that could lift up the spirits of any room. Family and friends are what she held most dear to her heart and is her legacy to the world. She loved to dance at the Turnverein in Denver and sing with the church choir at St Joseph's in Golden, CO and Divine Savior in Norridge, IL when she lived there from 1972 - 1999 then moving to Colorado to be closer to her children, Mark and Renee who move there in the late 90's after college and to attend graduate school at Northern Colorado respectively. Survived by: Dennis Szczesny, husband of Golden, CO. Mark Szczesny, son of Eagle CO with his daughters Zoe and Maddie. Renee Szczesny Legro, daughter of Gilford New Hampshire along with her husband Steven Legro and their daughters Megan and Emma. Her 4 grandchildren are her legacy and brought her the biggest smiles, pride and satisfaction to see them being together and growing their relationships that will carry on the flame of her energy.
Services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 969 Ulysses St. Golden. CO 80401 on Saturday, November 8th. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be recited at 9:30am, Eulogy at 9:50am and the Funeral Mass will begin at 10am, immediately followed by a luncheon. The burial is next door at the Golden Cemetery on Monday, November 10th at 10am.
