Ester Nunez known to many as Tere peacefully left us to be with her Heavenly Father on September 26, 2025. She was born on November 11, 1934, in San Antonio, Texas to Manuel Martinez and Daniella Campas-Martinez.

She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel Martinez and Daniella Campas-Martinez, husband Bicente Nunez Sr., Her daughters Maria Elena (Helen) Garcia and Sadia Chavez, sons Vicente Nunez Jr. and Juan (Johnny) Jose Nunez. Her siblings Santiago (Jimmy) Martinez, Aurora Ramos, Genoveva Villanueva, and Hortencia (Tencha) Guerrero.

She is survived by her two daughters Verginia Ornelas (Robert) of Granger, WA, Diana Nunez (Omar) of Zillah, WA and Son Erine Nunez (Rosa) of Toppenish, WA. Her Sister Celestina (Sally) Hinojosa. She also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 21 great great-grandchildren.

The viewing will be held on October 2nd from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah, with Rosary starting at 6:00pm.

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Granger on October 3rd at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Zillah Cemetery.

The Family would like to invite you to attend a food gathering after the cemetery services located in Toppenish at the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
