Esther Credit Obituary
She accepted Christ at an early age in Louisiana. In 1964, she and her family relocated to Joliet, IL. and joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Isaac Singleton Sr.
Esther was devoted to her work at Trinity Services for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Lula Bennett; 14 brothers and 12 sisters.
Survived by one daughter, Freeda Bennett of Bloomington, IL; three sons, Baron (Lisa) Credit of Aurora, IL, Michael (Barbara) Credit of South Carolina, Patrick Credit of Joliet, IL; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Arnita Smith of Monroe, LA; three brothers, Rev. Perry (Shirley-deceased) Bennett of Rockford, IL, James (Pamela-deceased) Bennett of Rockford, IL, Joe (Lillie) Bennett of Joliet, IL; beloved friend, Delores Simmons.
